LEAP!Structures provided structural engineering services for three, six-story garages with roughly one million square feet of parking, as well as a large, two-story central chiller plant facility to serve a seven building corporate office building complex in Austin, Texas.  

The chiller plant building structure and louver framing system was modeled in high detail, using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software as well as structural analysis software platforms to facilitate precise coordination with all equipment and piping.  Aesthetics and noise control were critical to the mechanical equipment screen design surrounding the roof of the central plant, to meet the visual and sound requirements for compatibility with the adjacent residential neighborhood.
